Just thought I share my little workspace ^.^
My desk, it's a little cluttered. ;)
It is necessary to work, if not from inclination, at least from despair. Everything considered, work is less boring than amusing oneself. - Charles Baudelaire
I am a dressmaker and designer mainly at the moment but I have a degree in textile design where I specialised in working in latex rubber.
A few months ago I moved to a bigger house where I can now have an entire room just for me to sew in!
And I finally took some pictures of it...
Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed showing you around.
I have a better picture now :P
Sorry for the blurriness/crazy colours, it's the only photo I have at the moment :P

Hi. We found a big sheet of glass from a door at my old house when we moved there. My dad made a desk for me out of it. I accidentally broke the glass. The question I have is.. what are some alternatives for that large of a peice of glass, for a desk that will be safe and cheap? Glass seems to be sooo expensive. Any ideas? Is there any type of plastic that I can give a frosted glass effect to if it's not actually transparent? Thanks.
